Wet Desert Days; Flood Watch In Effect

The Coachella Valley, Banning Pass and local Mountains are under a Flood Watch through Tuesday Feb 6th 2024 at 4 p-m.

The Mountains are also under a Winter Storm Warning through Tuesday evening Feb 6th 2024.

The desert could get a quarter of an inch to an inch of rain, depending on where you are, with heavier rain expected on the West end of the desert.

Snow level is above 55-hundred feet, and some regions at higher elevations are in line for a lot of snow.

Lower altitudes will get rain, which could cause runoff problems in the desert.

If you are heading west of the Coachella Valley, you will encounter much heavier rain.

Flooding and mudslides are already happening in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
