Son Kills Mother In Wildomar; Son Facing Murder Charge

24 year old Evan Jon Zavala of Wildomar is under arrest for stabbing his mother to death. He is facing a murder charge.

Just before 10 o’clock Monday night April 22nd 2024, deputies were called to a home on Breckenridge Trail in  Wildomar, regarding the report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

Inside the home, deputies found a 64 year old woman suffering from stab wounds.

She died after being rushed to the hospital. 

Zavala was arrested at the scene.
