Three Goals More Than Enough As Firebirds Down Gulls

Time to hit the road for the Coachella Valley Firebirds following a 3 to 1 home ice win over the San Diego Gulls Wednesday night in front of a sold out crowd at Acrisure Arena.

Shane Wright opened the  scoring with his 10th goal of the season in period #1, and Marian Studenic got the game-winner late in the second period.

The Gulls got their lone goal with 1:11 left in the game , spoiling the shutout for Ales Stezka.

The Firebirds skate in Tucson  Friday night Dec 29th at 6 p-m.
