On Thursday, February 29th 2024, just before 2 in the afternoon, Indio Police rushed to Valencia Avenue near Monroe Street, a couple of blocks south of Herbert Hoover Elementary School to check on reported gunshots.

Officers found an adult male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and he was rushed to the hospital.

During the investigation, 21 year old Manuel Victor Guerra III of Indio was identified as the suspect, but his whereabouts are unknown.

Manuel Victor Guerra III is wanted for attempted murder and Indio Police are seeking the public’s help in locating him.
