PSP Passenger Causes Problems

At  5:50 Thursday evening February 22nd 2024, a passenger at Palm Springs International Airport managed to get past the TSA security screening area without being screened.

So security personnel forced everyone to exit the secure side of the terminal, conducted a thorough search of the entire airport, and sent all passengers back through TSA screening a second time. 

As a result, all flights were halted as every person was required to exit and go back through security.

The individual who caused all the commotion, was apprehended, but not until the concourses and all post-security areas were cleared and searched.

Normal operations resumed at  6:30 p-m, with all passengers  being rescreened for travel.
