Old Library In Desert Hot Springs Sells for 350-Thousand Dollars

Desert Hot Springs has purchased the county building on West Drive where the old library stood for years. The purchase price is 350-thousand dollars.

Desert Hot Springs already owns the Carl May Community Center and the Senior Center on West Drive, and now with the purchase of the old library, the City will own the entire complex, and will look to expand government services.

Desert Hot Springs has a new library, run by the county, on Palm Drive, just south of Two Bunch Palms Drive which opened in 2021.
