Ketamine Found In Matthew Perry’s System; Actor Died October 28th 2023

Actor Matthew Perry died from from “the accute effects of ketamine.”

That’s the word from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Ketamine is a drug used to treat depression. It can also be used recreationally.

The autopsy determined Perry had taken ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety about a week before his death.

However the Coroner also says the ketamine in Perry’s system “could not be from that infusion therapy” since the drug’s half-life is only a few hours.

There was no evidence of alcohol or other drugs in Perry’s  system.

Perry starred on the hit TV show “Friends”.   He died at his Los Angeles home on October 28th 2023
