A 4-nothing win over Henderson Saturday night has pushed the Firebirds into first place by just one point over Tucson.
The Firebirds scored 2 goals in the first period, 2 more in the second, and Chris Driedger made them stand up, as he recorded the shutout.
Logan Morrison had 2 goals for the Firebirds.
8,392 fans were on hand at Acrisure Arena.
Coachella Valley hosts San Jose Thursday night Feb 15th 2024 at 7 o’clock.
