Making his Firebirds debut in goal, Cale Morris stopped 43 of the 44 shots fired at him by the Colorado Eagles Sunday night.
But the one he let in was the game-winner early in the 3rd period, as Colorado shut out the Firebirds 1-0 at Acrisure Arena.
On Saturday night the Firebirds skated past Bakersfield 5 to 2.
The Firebirds are 4 and 8 at home this season, and 10 and 1 on the road.
They play in Henderson Nevada Wednesday night Dec 20th and return home Saturday Dec 23rd for Teddy Bear Toss and Ugly Sweater night.
