Felons Busted Again

Three bad people from the East Valley are off the streets for now.

At 5 in the morning on Tuesday January 30th 2024, the Coachella Community Action Team, the Southern Coachella Valley Community Services District Team, the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, and the Emergency Services Team, served a weapons-related search warrant at a home on Cairo Street near Cesar Chavez Street in Coachella.

Deputies located two firearms, one of which was reported stolen, ammunition, and suspected fentanyl.

They arrested 26 year old Pedro Gonzalez and 46 year old Miguel Gonzalez on gun charges. Both are already convicted felons.

Pedro Gonzalez also faces additional charges for child endangerment and committing a felony while out on bail..

Deputies also encountered another criminal, 28 year old Giovanni Huerta of Thermal who was wanted for violating the terms of his parole by removing his GPS monitoring device.

All 3 are locked up in Indio.
