Ex-U-S Senator Boxer Ignores 2 Women Running For U-S Senate Seat, Supports Wealthy White Male Instead
Here’s a story from our “politics makes strange bedfellows” file.
Former U S Senator Barbara Boxer has chosen to turn her back on 2 Women, one of whom is a Woman of Color, and instead is endorsing a wealthy white man for a vacant U-S Senate seat.
In endorsing Adam Schiff for the seat, Boxer ignored Katie Porter and Barbara Lee.
All 3 candidates are liberal Democrats.
Former baseball star Steve Garvey is also running for the seat as a Republican…in a state where Democrat voters outnumber Republicans 2 to 1.
The vacant U S Senate seat is the one held by the late Dianne Feinstein for 31 years until her passing in 2023.
California Governor Gavin Newsom appointed Laphonza Butler to replace Feinstein, just gave her the job, but Butler is not running for election.
