DHS Crash Sends 3 People To The Hospital; Alcohol Was Involved

The rash of drunk driving crashes in Desert Hot Springs recently, continued right through the end of 2023.
On Friday, December 29th 2023 at 5:19 in the afternoon a 73 year old driver in a Hyundai Sonata was heading west on Pierson Boulevard approaching the 4-way stop sign at Little Morongo Road.
That driver, crossed over into the eastbound lanes, and crashed head-on into a Chevy Silverado.
The driver of the Hyundai and 2 people in the Silverado were all taken to the hospital.
Alcohol was a factor in this crash.
