Bicyclist Killed In Palm Desert

A 62 year old man from Indio, riding his bicycle on Cook Street north of Country Club in Palm Desert has been run over and killed.
Jay Groth was riding his bicycle around 7:30 Tuesday night when he was hit.
He died one hour later at the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with deputies.
