Wildomar Man Arrested For Stealing Forklifts From Home Depot Stores

In December 2022, deputies in Lake Elsinore began investigating several thefts from Home Depot stores throughout Riverside County.   

The thief grabbing all types of tools, even forklifts, which may not be the easiest things to steal.

On February 1st 2023, armed with a search warrant, deputies showed up at the home of 45 year old Anestacio Delacruz on Mesa Drive in Wildomar.  They also searched a storage unit where Delacruz had stashed 3 pounds of methamphetamine, 50-thousand dollars cash, a handgun, an illegal rifle, several thousands rounds of ammunition, and some clothing Delecruz had worn.

Delacruz is back in custody.  He’s already a convicted felon, and has another slew of drug and weapons charges to deal with.
