Weinstein L-A Sentencing Delayed Until February 2023; Lawyers Want New Trial

Disgraced Hollywood Movie Mogul Harvey Weinstein  will have to wait another month and a  half to hear his sentence in his rape case in Los Angeles.

The  film producer and Hollywood power broker,  was facing sentencing  on January 9th 2023 on three counts of rape and sexual assault in Los Angeles.

But his lawyers were granted a delay to give them time to file a motion for a new trial.

The new sentencing date is February 23rd 2023.

Weinstein is already serving a 23 year sentence for sexual assault in New York.

He’s already 70, very overweight, in a wheelchair,  and in very poor health.

Pertaining to the trial in Los Angeles, he faces 18 years in prison for that conviction.
