It could take several months to vaccinate all Californians 65 and older.
State epidemiologist Dr. Erica Pan says it could take 20 to 22 weeks or until June 2021 for California to vaccinate seniors 65 and older.
The Golden State has more than six-million residents 65 and older and to vaccinate just 70-percent of them, the state would need more than eight-point-seven-million vaccine doses.
Dr Pan says California is only getting 400- to 500-thousand doses of the vaccine each week from the federal government.
