The traffic signals at Vista Chino and Landau in Cathedral City are still a mess.
The lights will be green for traffic heading north and south, for several minutes, with no vehicles present.
The lights are red for east and west traffic with several vehicles waiting.
When the lights change, the left turn signals for east-west traffic turn green, even though there are no vehicles waiting to take left hand turns.
But the east-west traffic waiting to go straight, still has a red light, even though any driver with any common sense can clearly see there is no traffic turning left and it is safe to proceed straight ahead.
Engineers have been working to correct this for weeks now, with no success.
