Candy hearts are the most popular Valentine’s Day candy nationwide, although Forrest Gump might disagree. Candy Store-dot-com claims its recent survey indicates over ten-percent of Americans bought candy hearts last Valentine’s, whereas roughly nine-percent purchased heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. The online candy retailer believes candy heart sales will be even bigger this year and will continue to deviate from the normal boxes of chocolates. Vodka-infused candy hearts became trendy for the first time last year. Sugary candy hearts are most popular in Arizona, Florida and Hawaii.
