Martha’s Village and Kitchen in Indio is teaming up with Riverside University Health System to provide Covid-19 vaccines to people who are impoverished, and those living on the streets.
Individuals ages 18-64 with underlying medical conditions or disabilities, and people who are 50 and older are eligible.
Just like at all the other county-operated vaccination clinics, the vaccine is offered at no cost to the recipient. You don’t need medical insurance.
This clinic is intended to serve very low-income people or people with no income at all, or with nowhere to live. It’s from 8:30 a-m to 4:30 p-m on Thursday April 8th at Martha’ Village at 83-791 Date Avenue in Indio.
The Johnson and Johnson single-dose vaccination will be administered.

There are plenty of vaccine appts available at the County Fairgrounds in Indio and at the Palm Springs Convention Center from Thurs April 8th and Friday April 9th.
Some appts available at the Carl May Community Center in Desert Hot Springs.
Desert Oasis Healthcare on El Cielo in Palm Springs has a few appts available.
Desert Oasis on Dr Carreon Blvd in Indio has a few vaccine appts available.
There are plenty of appts available at Eisenhower Health Annenberg at 39000 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage, from Friday April 9th through Sat May 22nd. Go to www.myturn.ca.gov or www.eisenhowerhealth.org. Pfizer or Moderna vaccines are being offered.
There are plenty of appts at the Chatigny Senior Community Center in Beaumont and at Moreno Valley Mall, both sites offering Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. But both locations are offering the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine on Monday April 12th.
There are some appts at Tahquitz High School in Hemet.
There are vaccine appts available on Monday 12th through Thurs April 15th at the Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley.
No appts available at the old Sears Building in Riverside.
There are No vaccine appts available at the Indio Clinic on Oasis Street.
