U-S Open Update; Gauff Into 3rd Round

Americans Coco Gauff, Madison Keys, Emma Navarro, and Peyton Stearns have made it to the 3rd round of the U S Open, but the dream is over for 16 year old Iva Jovic and Taylor Townsend, both falling short.

On the Men’s side, Taylor Fritz, former BNP Paribas Open Champ, picks up a win, along with Americans Brandon Nakashima, Ben Shelton, and Frances Tiafoe. Novak Djokovic also won.

#4 seed Desirae Krawczyk of Palm Desert High School, and her doubles partner Caroline Dolehide won their 1st round match.
