Two Pedestrians Run Over & Killed In 2 Separate Incidents 4 Hours Apart

63 year old Mark Maglione of Palm Springs was run over and killed late last Thursday night near  Ramon Rd and Crossley Rd in Palm Springs.

Maglione was lying in the road when Palm Springs Police arrived at the scene at 9:45 p-m on May 4th 2023

He died at the scene.

The driver of the car  is cooperating with police.

Another pedestrian was run over and killed on Thursday  May 4th 2023 in Palm Desert.

The victim was hit around 5:45 in the afternoon on Alessandro Drive near Portola and was rushed to the hospital, but died there.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.

The preliminary evidence shows the victim was walking southbound across Alessandro Drive when the collision occurred.

Emergency responders rush to the scene of an emergency.
