California Governor Gavin Newsom is signing two laws to protect abortion privacy.
Newsom has signed Assembly Bill 1184, which ensures sensitive medical information is only provided to the patient, and no one else who might be pat of their health care plan.
Newsom also signed AB 1356, which makes it illegal to post photos, videos or personal information online of anyone at abortion facilities. That law also extends protections to one-hundred feet surrounding the entrance to abortion facilities.
