Two Men Arrested For Murder; Victim Killed In 2020

Nearly 4 years after  21 year old Daniel Murua was shot to death on a street in Moreno Valley, two men will faces charges in the case.

Murua’s body was found on October 31st 2020 at 1:35 in the morning on Dracaea Avenue in Moreno Valley.

July 31st 2024, investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit identified the suspects as 26 year old Michel Fernando Garcia-Zazueta, who is currently in custody on an unrelated case at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside. He is now being charged with Murua’s murder, firearm enhancement, and being  a felon in possession of a firearm.

24 year old Andrew George Perez of Colton is jailed in Riverside and charged with being an  accessory in Murua’s killing.
