Two Arrests Made In Gun Bust In Coachella

It was around 4 in the afternoon on Sunday June 30th 2024 when some people in Coachella called the Sheriffs Department to report hearing gunfire on Camino Coras.

Armed with a search warrant, deputies brought the K-9 team to a home and found 4 handguns, one rifle, ammunition…and evidence that someone had been firing guns negligently in the backyard of the home.

38 year-old Frank Molina of Mecca and 46-year-old Bernardo Moreno of Coachella were arrested for negligent discharge of a firearm and child endangerment.
