Teen’s Body Found Inside A Car In La Quinta; Victim Shot To Death; Suspect Is 17

A 16 year old boy has been shot to death inside a car in a parking lot in La Quinta.
Deputies were called to the parking lot near the Kohl’s store on Highway 111 at Adams Street just before 2 in the morning on Monday August 14th 2023.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriffs officials say they have identified a 17 year old boy as the suspect.
