A Palm Desert man who killed 3 people in a car crash on Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert on December 28th 2022, is under arrest for homicide.
24 year old Ricardo Meza was driving more than 1-hundred miles per hour in a Honda Accord on Fred Waring Drive just west of Monterey Avenue, when he crashed into a Nissan, that was taking a left hand turn. Three people in the Nissan was killed. Meza sustained minor injuries.
Meza was arrested in Desert Hot Springs on March 3rd 2023.
A Riverside man, wanted on a warrant, is under arrest after getting caught in a parking lot on Seminole Drive in Cabazon around 10 at night at Thursday March 2nd 2023.
29 year old Lennox Lupeli was in possession of several hundred dollars in counterfeit money, and some fentanyl.
He tried to drive away in a blue Mazda with Utah license plates, but deputies found him.
Saturday evening March 4th 2023, just after 6 p-m, deputies were called to the residential neighborhood near Calliandra Street and Alamo Drive in Palm Desert. That’s east of Highway 74, a short distance from St Margaret’s Church.
A woman walking on Caliandra Street was hit by a Nissan Frontier.
The woman was killed.
The driver of the Nissan Frontier, 31 year old Cameron Curtis of Palm Desert is facing homicide charges. Sheriffs officials says alcohol played a role in this fatal crash.
