Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died.
His publicist released a statement saying “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts.”
“He passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family.”
Watts was 80 years old and recently pulled out of the Rolling Stones tour for health reasons.
The drummer joined the band in 1963. Watts is survived by his wife, daughter and granddaughter.
