Stolen Cargo Recovered In Western Riverside County
Since February 2024, the Riverside County Sheriffs Department has been investigating organized retail crime and trailer cargo theft ring in Moreno Valley.
On Thursday May 9th, at 8 at night, deputies served a search warrant at a warehouse on Highway 74 in an uncincorporated area called Good Hope, near Perris California in Western Riverside Count.
They found more than 160 pallets of stolen merchandise, ranging from food products to industrial-grade tools.
The recovered stolen property is valued at more than 1.4 million dollars.
A truck driver, 34-year-old Rajdeep Singh of Jurupa Valley, was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. This is an ongoing investigation, and deputies are working to identify additional suspects.
