A crowd of 2 million plus turned out in Lower Manhattan Wednesday morning to honor the World Cup Champion United States Women’s National Soccer Team.
People on the street were stacked 9 deep, as others in buildings along the parade route threw confetti on the team, as it made its way down the Canyon of Heroes.
The 2-nil U-S victory over The Netherlands on July 7th gave the Americans their 2 consecutive World Cup title.
