Smoke Advisory Extended In The Inland Empire & Local Mountains

Smoke Advisory continues through 11 p-m Tuesday Sept 17th 2024 for the inland Empire and Mountain Areas around Big Bear and Crestline and Mt Baldy.
Forecasted Smoke and Air Quality Impacts: Big Bear and Mt. Baldy are expected to reach the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups AQI category or higher all day Monday. Other areas will mostly be in the Moderate AQI category. PM2.5 levels will depend on fire activity.
- Smoke from the Bridge and Line Fires is expected to most heavily impact areas near each fire including the San Gabriel and San Bernardino Mountains, Big Bear, and Mt. Baldy.

outlook/e18c7d17. - If substantial smoke production occurs from the Airport Fire, it would most likely impact areas near the fire including the Santa Ana Mountains, Lake Elsinore, Corona, and Perris.
- Smoke impacts in the South Coast Air Basin and Coachella Valley will likely continue until fire activity decreases. South Coast Air Quality Management District will continue to provide daily smoke advisory updates until air quality impacts from smoke subside.
