Short Jail Sentence For Man Who Killed A Dog

39 year old Hyapa Strebe, will spend just 4 months in jail, and a couple years on probation for killing a dog.

Monday August 12th Strebe was kicking a German Shepherd near Sunrise and Baristo in Palm Springs, when police intervened.

Police say Strebe was dragging the dog also.

The dog died from his injuries before he could get medical attention.

Strebe pleaded guilty to one animal cruelty charge.
