Sexual Predator Takes A Long Road Trip; Busted In Murrieta Attempting To Hook Up With A 14 Year Old Girl

A man from Sacramento is jailed in Western Riverside County after being busted by deputies during a month-long undercover investigation.

44 year old Laith Fathi Sikta went online and made contact with who he thought was a 14 year old girl.  He even made plans to meet this person for a sexual encounter.  

But this person was not a 14 year old girl.  It was an undercover deputy posing as a 14 year old girl.

On Friday August 30th, 2024,  Sikta drove from Sacramento to Murrieta in Western Riverside County, planning  to pick up the young girl in the middle of the night. 

Been when Sikta got to the location to meet the girl,  he was immediately arrested by deputies. 

Cannabis was located in Sikta’s vehicle. Sikta was booked  for contacting a minor with the intent to have sex, sending harmful matter through electronic means to a minor, and offering to furnish cannabis to a minor.
