The United States Supreme Court has struck down a strict Louisiana abortion law.
The 5-4 decision is a big win for advocates of abortion rights.
Chief Justice John Roberts, once again voted with the four liberal Justices.
The Louisiana law placed strict restrictions on doctors who offer abortion services in Louisiana.
It was similar to a Texas law that the high court struck down in 2016.

The United States Supreme Court won’t hear an appeal by some death row inmates, clearing the way for their executions.
The Supreme Court announced the decision in an unsigned order. Only two Justices, Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, said they would have been interested in hearing the appeal.
U-S Attorney General Bill Barr announced last year that the federal government will resume executions for the first time in nearly two decades.
