There are 10 casualties and numerous injuries reported in an early Wednesday morning shooting in downtown San Jose California.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office received reports of shots fired around 6:34 Wednesday  morning May 26th at the light rail yard of the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.   Several of the victims are transportation workers.

The suspect Samuel Cassidy shot himself to death as police moved in.

He was an employee at that railyard, and had warned his ex-wife more than a decade ago, that he wanted to kill people at work.

She took no action, saying she did not believe him.

Investigators are piecing together facts about what happened and why.
