Rivera's Body Found In Ventura County's Lake Piru

A body found floating in California’s Lake Piru in Ventura County has been identified as missing “Glee” star Naya Rivera.

Monday afternoon July 13th 2020, Ventura County authorities said the body’s appearance, clothing and location leads them to believe they’ve found the remains of the 33-year-old actress and singer.

She hadn’t been seen since going on an outing with her young son almost a week ago.

The four-year-old boy was found alone and asleep on a rented boat and told authorities his mother vanished underwater. The boy was wearing a life jacket. His mother’s life jacket was also found in the boat.

An autopsy will be done to find out the exact cause of death.
