Rita Lamb Wins Cathedral City Election; Only 12-Hundred People Voted

The City Council race in Cathedral City is over.
The results have been certified by the Registrar of Voters Office, and Rita Lamb wins the race by 39 votes.
645 people voted for her, while 606 people voted for Shelley Kaplan.
Turnout was under 32%.
The election was conducted entirely by mail ballot on Augu8st 27th.
Anyone wanting a recount has until Tuesday September 17th to request it, and has to pay for it.
