Rally Against Solitary Confinement Of Prisoners

Tuesday, November 14th 2023 is a  National Day of Action Against Solitary Confinement.

A group called the Federal Anti-Solitary Taskforce is urging the U-S  Congress to pass legislation titled the End Solitary Confinement Act.

It would prohibit the use of putting prisoners in in solitary confinement for longer than four hours.

The taskforce is led by  liberal Congress members, Cori Bush of Missouri and Sydney Kamlager-Dove of California, along with people from the ACLU, NAACP and Center for Constitutional Rights.

They are holding a virtual rally at 11 a-m Pacific time on Tuesday November 14th 2023.

You can avoid solitary confinement by choosing to obey the law.

Convicted criminals who are too dangerous to put in the general population of a prison, are the people who are put in solitary confinement.
