PSP Retail, Restaurants Ready To Take Flight

Palm Springs International Airport will be doubling its number of restaurants starting in 2023.

The expansion will be done in two phases, with Phase 1 construction beginning in February 2023.

By the Fall of 2023, look for EL Mirasol and Coachella Valley Coffee Company to open locations at PSP, along with Nine Cities Craft serving local craft beers and cocktails, and Half Moon Empanadas.

The airport will also add Amazon’s Just Walk Out shopping technology, and a seasonal ice cream truck, and Duty-Free shopping.

Phase 2  will begin in May 2024. It will bring in Vino Volo, local favorite Trio,  the Palm Springs Art Museum, TKB Bakery & Deli from Indio, and other shops, highlighted by local art pieces.

Joshua Tree National Park will be the focus of a shop called Hey Joshua selling items from iconic High Desert stores.

Mohave Oasis will sell resort wear and accessories, golf apparel, spa-quality self-care products, and locally-made gifts.

Other newcomers will be operating by the end of 2024 include The Body Deli, Rappi Palm Springs, Rancho Relaxo, Thick as Thieves, Palm Springs Life,  The Living Desert, Palm Springs Certified Farmer’s Market,  and the Ice Cream Shoppe from the Arrive Hotel in Uptown Palm Springs will open a location at the airport.

Inmotion will offer the latest for tech lovers. Crush Crush Cookies and Tutu’s Tortillas will round out the new places.

The Palm Springs City Council has approved  a new 10-year concessions agreement.
