Sheriff’s officials in Palm Desert are asking for help from anyone who has information about a bomb threat at Palm Desert Charter Middle School.

It was before 5 p-m on Monday March 18th when administrators at the school received bomb threats via email.

The threats indicated there were several bombs planted at the school.

50 students and some staff members were evacuated, and nearby Lincoln Elementary School was also evacuated as the bomb squad was called in to investigate.

But after a thorough search lasting more than 2 hours, nothing was found.

If you know anything about this incident, call Investigator Letterly at the Sheriffs Station in Palm Desert at 760-836-1600.
