People With Slow Or No Internet Are Saving Money On Black Friday
In what might be the ultimate case of playing the victim card, a website called Red Flag Fulfiillment .com has done a study, and found residents in 5 counties in Northern California are at a disadvantage when it comes to Black Friday online sales.
The study reports the folks in Sierra, Trinity , Modoc, Colusa and Inyo Counties have slow internet connections, and not everyone has broadband access.
So, in theory, someone else, somewhere else…who has high speed internet, could conceivably make an internet purchase faster, and thus buy all the good low-priced stuff before it sells out.
But let’s look at this with some holiday cheer. If some person with lots of money and high speed internet, takes home all the online bargains on Black Friday, leaving you with nothing….just think of all the money you saved by not buying all that cheap crap from China, which you don’t need anyway. Plus, you are saving the planet, because you won’t have the Amazon drone dropping boxes on your front porch, stuffed with packaging material that just ends up in your local landfill.
