Palm Springs Police Shoot Two Robbery Suspects At Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs

Two suspects out looking for ‘trouble’ in the wee hours of the morning, found it….with the initials PSPD all over it.

Palm Springs Police shot both suspects moments after they robbed a woman at gunpoint in the parking structure at the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs.

This incident started at 12:45 in the morning on Wednesday October 21st 2020, when the two suspects robbed a man at gunpoint in the parking structure of the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs.

The suspects fled in a white Honda Accord.

They drove fast enough to make it across town to the Agua Caliente Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage by 1 in the morning, where they attempted another armed robbery.

Again they fled in a white Honda Accord before Sheriffs deputies could find them.

Apparently unfazed that Palm Springs Police might still be investigating the 12:45 a-m robbery at the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, the same 2 suspects in the same white Honda Accord, drove back to the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs, and security officers saw them and called 9-1-1.

The suspects pulled out a gun, approached a woman who was standing near her car, grabbed her from behind, covered her mouth, and stole her purse.

But the suspects escapade came to end when they tried to drive out of the parking structure, and were confronted by three Palm Springs Police Officers who shot the suspects inside that white Honda Accord.

No officers were hurt.

The suspects are expected to survive.

The Sheriffs Department and the District Attorney’s Office will investigate.
