Palm Springs Buys New Grader to Clear Sand Off Major Roads

The City of Palm Springs has been putting its newly-purchased commercial road grader to good use.  Might as well. The piece of machinery cost m,ore than half a million dollars.

Palm Springs Director of Public Works David McAbee says the grader helps city crews clear sand from the roadways, especially along Indian Canyon Drive, Gene Autry Trail and Vista Chino, reducing road closures.
