Palm Desert Woman Arrested For Running House Of Prostitution

61 year old Xiaozhen Xhang of Palm Desert has been arrested for prostitution in La Quinta.

Sheriffs deputies arrested her at 4 in the afternoon on Wednesday, September 8th 2021 near Highway 111, about a block west of Washington Street.

The search warrant stemmed from a prior incident where a sex act was negotiated in exchange for money.

Xhang is also being charged with maintaining a house for prostitution or lewdness.

So far, deputies have not located any victims of human trafficking in connection with this case.
