Palm Desert Bank Robber Still On The Loose

Deputies in Palm Desert are still looking for the man who robbed the Mechanics Bank on Highway 111 near Larkspur on Thursday July 11th 2024.

At 12:21 that afternoon deputies arrived on scene but  the suspect had already fled.

Just prior to that, the suspect, demanded money from a teller at the bank, than ran out of the bank with his stash of cash.

The suspect did not show any type of weapon. 

Deputies are looking for a white guy, bewteen  50 and 60 years old, 5’10” to 6’0″ tall, 150 to 175 pounds.

The suspect could be the same person who robbed  the U S Bank on Highway 111 in Palm Desert back on June 26th 2024.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect should call 911 or contact Investigator Villasenor at the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station at 760–836–1600.
