The Palm Springs Public Library is accepting U.S. passport applications.
The Library will all forms and documents to the U S State Dept, where your passport will be processed.
As an official Passport Acceptance Facility, the Library can only help to facilitate the execution of new passports, not renewals. Appointments are required and are available Monday – Saturday offering a convenient option for everyone. It’s easy to make an appointment, just go the Library’s website at www.pslibrary.org. and click on ‘Passport’.
Applicable processing fees set by the State Department are paid at the time of service. U.S. Passport photos are also available for a $15 fee.
Due to the current backlog at the Department of State their processing times are longer than usual and can take up to 18 weeks, or 12 weeks with paid expedited service. Also, when coming to the Library for your appointment all persons are required to wear face masks.
The Library is located at the corner of Sunrise Way and Baristo Road.
