Owner Of Pit Bull Sought, After Dog Attacks Chihuahua In Palm Springs
Palm Springs Police want to talk with a white man, in his mid-50’s, about 5 feet 8 and slender.
He was out walking his pit bull dog near the walking trail southeast of Demuth Park in Palm Springs on Friday night September 20th at 7:30.
At the time, the man was wearing a beige baseball cap, a dark green shirt, khaki shorts and was carrying a wooden cane.
Police say the pit bull dog attacked a chihuahua in the area, and the owner of the pit bull left the scene without talking with the owner of the chihuahua.
The chihuahua was so badly injured, it had to be euthanized.
There are no criminal charges pending at this time, and police are not sure if the owner of the pit bull is even aware of the injuries his dog inflicted on the chihuahua.
If you have any information about this incident, call the Palm Springs Animal Control Hotline at (760) 323-8151.
