Old Man Arrested…Charged With Sex Crimes Involving A Minor

An elderly man from Palm Desert is jailed in Indio after being arrested in Rancho Mirage on August 16th 2023.

Sheriffs investigators have been looking into a case of sexual assault of a minor since April 3rd 2023.

After 4 months, they have the evidence to charge 65 year old Oscar William Alvarez with the crime.

He is facing multiple felony charges.
