No Violations In Coachella As Deputies Send In Underage Decoy To Buy Alcohol

The Sheriffs Department has been out and about in Coachella, checking to see if any stores are selling to tobacco to minors.

On Friday March 10th 2023 the Coachella Community Action Team checked 21 stores around town, using an underage decoy to try to buy tobacco products.

The employees at all 21 businesses refused to sell tobacco to the 20 year old decoy.

California taxpayers pay for these  operations, sending grants to local and regional law enforcements agencies throughout the year.
