California Governor Gavin Newsom will not be listed as a Democrat on the ballot for his recall election on September 14th 2021.

Newsom’s campaign staff screwed up when filling out his paperwork for the recall election and failed to indicate his political party preference.

So, his party affiliation was not listed next to his name.

Newsom sued the California Secretary of State, a woman he just appointed to the job, in an effort get the ‘D’ (Democrat) next to his name on the September 14th recall ballot

Now a ruling by a judge in Sacramento has denied Newsom’s request.

Newsom missed the deadline to include his party preference on the ballot.
