Moreno Valley Man Jailed On Sexual Assault Charges

A Moreno Valley man is jailed on one million dollars bail for 2 recent incidents involving sexual assault.

On Wednesday May 29th 2024 at 5 in the afternoon,  deputies were called to check on a man who was exposing himself to a woman near  near TownGate Memorial Park in Moreno Valley.

24 year old Ruben Portillo Delgado was riding a motor scooter  when he exposed himself and tried to grabbed the woman as he drove by.

But he was able to get away.

One day later, on Thursday  May 30th 2024 at 2 in the afternoon, Delgado tried the same thing, riding his motor scooter past another woman near Arbor Park Lane and Dracaea Avenue in Moreno Valley, exposing himself,  then trying to grab the woman.

Again Delgado was able to get away.

On Tuesday  June 4th 2024 at 2 in the afternoon, deputies saw the suspect on his motor scooter in Moreno Valley, and arrested him.

Turns out, Delgado was also being sought by investigators for an incident going back to January 2024, in which a child was sexually assaulted at a residence on Indian Street in Moreno Valley.

Delgado is now jailed in Riverside.
